Meet Paul

Paul was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His parents were Henry and Iris Corden, and his father was an Electrical Engineer for the Tennessee Valley Authority, helping bring electricity to the rural South.
Paul graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and Chase College of Law of Northern Kentucky University.
Paul and his wife Lori will be married forty years in July, and have two daughters, and recently their first grandchild.
He volunteered for the United States Navy in 1968, and served two rotations overseas, including in Vietnam as a medical corpsman where he earned the Bronze Star.
Paul worked in the commercial beverage industry managing plant operations, and in the food service industry as vice-president of a global equipment supplier. He was the president of a medical technology company and directed professional development for business and industry at Spartanburg Community College.
He is not a career politician, but rather a person with broad experience who will represent all citizens of the district. Paul is active in local civic groups and his church. He will bring new solutions to Congress for effective and responsible action.
Just as he volunteered to serve his country in an earlier time of crisis, Paul believes that he must volunteer again to help us chart a new direction. He is committed to this challenge, "for our children, and grandchildren."
