Here's what you can do:

Democracy only works when people get involved. Don't like how things are going? Stand up with Paul Corden and do something about it. Sick of the same old Washington, DC politics? Answer the call of civic duty: get involved in the issues that matter to you.

Get Informed about the things that matter to you. Read the local paper. Check out issues on the web. Talk to local community leaders. ASK QUESTIONS, and do not stop until you are satisfied with the answers.

Get Active in local issues. The people who seem to "run things" now only got there because they cared enough to do something. Does it take time to be active in issues? Of course, but the time will be well spent.

Get Registered to Vote. People fought wars and staged mass movements to gain and protect the right of citizens to vote for their leaders. Take advantage of their efforts and claim your right as a citizen. Not sure how? Click here to get started.

Get to the Polls and bring others. Democracy only works if people participate. Have neighbors who don't get around so well? Bring them too. Carpool. Organize van and bus pools. Just get there, and don't go alone.

Get to Party HQ. Paul Corden is not the only Democrat running for office. Americans are team players, and all politics are local. That means if you want to get involved in national politics, you should act locally as well.

Get Busy spreading the word. Tell your family, friends, neighbors, fellow church members, people at work, and anyone else you can think of. Get the word out about the good things Paul Corden and the other Democrats are doing locally.
